About Kelly
I have been involved with the natural healing community for the past 25 years. For myself and my family, natural remedies and eating a whole food diet have supported our health and immune systems. My passion turned into my blog and my business.
Physical fitness is just as important as our eating habits and leaving one or the other out of a health program, isn't really giving yourself a fair shot. So I focus on providing guidance in both fitness and nutrition to help you reach your personal goals.
As a Holistic Nutritionist I advise individuals, families and/or groups on how to improve diet, lifestyle and attitude to prevent disease and promote health. Everyone’s health is an expression of the complex interplay between the physical and chemical, mental and emotional, as well as spiritual and environmental aspects of one’s life. Professionals who are trained in holistic nutrition approach health and healing from a whole-person perspective. Using nutritional education as a primary tool, holistic nutrition professionals emphasize the building of health and disease risk-reduction by approaching each person as a unique individual. This requires fully engaging the individual in her health recovery process and honoring her innate wisdom by working in an empowering and cooperative manner to chart a course to optimal health.
As a Fitness Trainer I lead, instruct, and motivate individuals and/or groups in exercise activities, including cardiovascular exercise, strength training, and stretching. With my specialty being in functional training for sports, you will learn the key concepts, proven methods, exercises, and functional training programs that maximize athletes’ movements in competition. I construct various functional training programs based on goals, skills, and sport.
Natural-Hacks is my blog where I share home remedies, natural cures, healthy recipes, exercise tips and health benefits of a holistic lifestyle!
My hope is that in sharing my passion in this blog, others who are seeking a more natural approach to health can find some guidance.
